The kids have made a "scale model" of a animal crate for use on planes.  They got to use a hot-glue gun (no one was burned in the making of the photo).  Later, a couple of kids used spray paint for the first time!

The team T-shirts arrived and we shot a new team photo.  Everyone was really excited!

 

Only Two Week Left

We made a calendar a few weeks ago and have been marking off the days left until the Palmer Regional Qualifier Tournament.  The competition is at the Palmer Middle School in Cobb County from 9:00 - 4:00 PM on December 12th.  Come and cheer us on!

We had pumpkin cookies for snack and one decorated especially for the birthday girl.  BONUS: If you look closely near the right center of the photo, you can also see PugBot2's laser beam eyes -- watch out!

 

Coach from the Past

Recently, we needed an another adult at the meeting.  Former Coach Born2BWired graciously volunteered to come out of retirement for a couple meetings.  Elegotricguitargirl, our veteran, was the only team member that was acquainted, but the rest of the kids warmed right up to him.

Experts

We had an expert visit us tonight to help us with our research project.  He is an airline pilot and had tons of cool pictures and stories for us!  We have also been in contact with a shipping company, another airline and zoo employees around Georgia.

Button Making

The team started making buttons for the upcoming regional qualifier tournament on December 12th at Palmer Middle School in Cobb Co.  There will be 30+ team competing!

This year we are making half of the buttons generic.  Each team member will personalize the other half of the buttons.
