The Transformers robotics team received the First Place Champion's Award at the Kell Regional Qualifier. We worked very hard and had a great time! All four of the competition's elements came together for us: Teamwork, Research Project, Robot Design and the Robot Game. The tournament was run by the Kell Robotics team and Mr. Barker the program director. It was very well organized and stayed on schedule. Thanks to all of the volunteers!
Research Presentation
The topic this year is related to transportation, so the project is Transporting Animals In and Out of Georgia on Planes. The kids invented a better shipping crate for any kind of animal that will not collapse, cools the animal if the temperature gets too hot and transmits an audio/video feed to one's phone or the Internet. The owner or caregiver can watch the animal from the plane or from the ground.

Robot Run
On the last robot run the team completed all of the missions with only a few seconds to spare. They have worked so hard to accomplish all the task and they did it!
